Membership Updates:

The Board of Directors has announced a reduction in the
initiation fee for those wishing to join the club as Stock
Members. This is part of the initiative extending a
welcome to our new neighbors at Del Webb's Sweetgrass.

for details. In addition to the reduced initiation fee, new
Del Webb resident stock members will receive six months of
free trail fees.
In
an effort to attract young members to Fort Bend Country Club,
we offer the Junior
Affiliate
Membership
rates. Junior members (under 30 years old) dues are $139.45*
per month. To sign up
all you have to do is pay first and last month’s dues
($139.45 x 2 = $278.90 including sales tax). All regular Affiliate Membership
benefits apply.
For
those members who are investigating ways to stay a club
member the most economical way in these uncertain times,
please consider our Affiliate Membership. Maybe you are a
partner-member whose time to mature to full dues is coming, or
a senior member who is looking to balance their budget; take a
look at this alternative membership.
By
joining as an Affiliate Member, you can lower your dues to
$185.94*. You would no longer maintain
your equity status, but would forego assessments, debt
service/improvement fees, and food
and beverage minimums. Also, you could still keep
standard family membership benefits like owning your cart,
maintaining membership in the WGA/MGA, playing tournaments
in-house, and using the pool.
The
board is working hard to come up with ways for existing
members to become members of our club more economically. Thus,
the affiliate membership has become a major focal point.
Please note that by resigning your current membership and
rejoining as an affiliate, you are technically a new member
and will pay no assessment fee, debt service/improvement fees,
or food and beverage minimums.
The
board will strive in the future to keep this membership type
free of additional fees or assessments so as to maintain a
membership that is the most economical one found anywhere in
the local area. |
